|Secret To Getting Anything?|
You Know How, But Do You Know Why?
An unexamined life is not worth living ? Socrates
All too often we get caught up in how we should go about achieving a specific goal. We decide that we need to make something definite happen and then focus our efforts on what is required to accomplish the task.
More important than knowing how to make something happen, is knowing why you want to make it happen.
Knowing why will keep you focused; give you strength when you need it, and keep you in action when you are tempted to quit.
An example of this would be, "I want to create wealth." You have a winning lottery ticket and want to make your moderate winnings work for you.
You decide to start reading real estate investment books, studying stock quotes, and enroll in a taxation course so you can learn how to take advantage of all the loopholes.
A few months go by and you get bored with the routine of studying and learning. A friend offers you the opportunity of a lifetime ? a month-long trip to Europe, and for a mere $10,000.
You had planned on using your lottery winnings for creating wealth, but the commitment is exhausting and you could really use a vacation.
You cash in your savings and take the trip.
Once you're back home, you have great stories to tell and memories to hold on to, but after a month or two, you become disheartened because you feel you are back on the bottom rung of the ladder and have to start all over again if you want to create any kind of wealth.
By knowing why you want to become rich, you may have created a completely different outcome.
You may have decided you wanted to become rich because:
- You are tired of being broke and working at a dead end job that gives you no personal satisfaction.
- Your parents are aging and you want to be able to help them financially when the time comes for increased medical care
- You saw how your parents struggled financially to survive and want to create a different future for yourself
By knowing your "Why" you would have been more committed to your goal and would have considered the impact taking a trip to Europe would have on your long-term plan.
You would not have sacrificed long-term gain for immediate pleasure.
Robert Kiyosaki, one of my favorite writers and author of, "Retire Young, Retire Rich," shared a personal story about why he decided to commit to creating a better life for himself.
He knew what had to be done and how to make it happen, but it was not until he was able to crystallize the reasons why he wanted to create wealth, that he actually committed to taking the action necessary.
He quoted the old adage, "Where there's a will, there's a way," and discovered that once he knew what his will was; he was able to find the way.
Before pursuing a goal, determine why you want to achieve it. What will it mean for you to realize your dream? Once you have determined your "Why" finding your "How" will be a lot easier and your commitment to your goal will be stronger.
Until next time, dream big dreams and know that you can make them reality. It's all up to you.

As I have worked with people over the years I have seen an amazing thing. People often get frustrated because they aren't achieving "success." There are lots of possible reasons for this but one reason I have found that sticks out is that many people allow their definition of "Success" to be driven by someone or something else.
Trusting The Higher Self
As very few people achieve enlightenment in one lifetime, as the both the subconscious mind, which has a drive to destroy and the conscious mind are very resistant to suggestions from the Higher Self. This is because messages from the Higher Self mostly manifest as gut feelings and hunches and the "orders" often are often perceived by the conscious mind to be irrational or impossible to attain. However, if you live by the belief that we live in a universe where there is a supply for every demand than nothing in theory nothing is impossible to attain. When you find yourself in a hopeless situation I find repeating the mantra "With God all things are possible. Spirit is never too late!"
Top Ten Ways To Create Positive Behavior Change
1. Open your mind to new ideas: Positive behavior change has to start with your thoughts. Get excited about learning new methods, developing new skills and doing things differently. Anything else is "text-book insanity" ? that's when you do the same things the same way and expect different results.
Success Is Easy, But So Is Neglect
People often ask me how I became successful in that six-year period of time while many of the people I knew did not.
Are You an Emerging Champion?
In terms of life success, there are four pretty obvious levels of accomplishment: First is the class of the current winners ? those who have figured out what they what they want, and are taking focused action to attain their goals.

Bring on the Boosters!
Nobody becomes a success alone, period. There is no such person who is "self made." I know this because I have regularly involved myself with some of America's most successful people and as I listen to their stories I realize that all of them have had what I call their own "booster club."
Very few of us can pick up a complex task and ace it the first time we try it. Take typing. In all the years I taught it, I never had a single student sit down at the keyboard and type 60-70 words a minute their first time.

12 Tips to Network Your Way to Success
Lots of people network but few reap the rewards of zeroing in on their potential when it comes to networking. Here are some tips to help fill the gap between where you are now and where you can be.
The Clichés of Success
The problem with writing about success is that almost everything ends up sounding like a cliché. It has all been said before. It has all been read or heard before. There are no new secret formulas; no new tricks to creating success or being successful; nothing new to write about.
Knowledge Is Not Power
Whoever first said that knowledge is power was probably selling encyclopedias. Knowledge is a tool, like money and influence. Tools are only powerful if they are used effectively. How, then, do you make a headful of knowledge into a powerful tool?
Enroll in Car College - Learn Whilst Youre On The Move
One of the most overlooked opportunities for learning and personal growth is the time we spend in our cars. There really isn't much we can do safely in our car but drive. I know I see people doing all kinds of things such as curling their hair, putting their makeup on and talking on the telephone. All of those things are distracting. There is something we can do in our cars to make any commute worth the time. That is what I call Car College - otherwise known as listening to some form of audio.
Healthy Wealthy Wise: Boost Your Productivity
We all strive for a 'balanced life'. Although we may not all be able to achieve the myth of balance, we can focus on three areas of our life to help us be more productive in other areas of our life. By managing our heath, knowing our wealth and seeking wisdom in what we do ? we can achieve amazing things in our life.
Persistence is Tops
To take the online road to success is not, contrary to millions of internet and email ads, the short road traveled. There is enormous revenue potential through online channels, predicted to top $8 billion by 2005. We all would like our piece of the pie, but unfortunately some don't want to work to get to it.

Success Is Based On A Realistic Plan
Everyone wants to be successful. However, many people often rely on luck and chance to achieve results. The best example in this case is someone who wants to be rich but only try the most ineffective method: playing the Lotto. Of course, there are chances of becoming rich over night, but how likely is it that this will actually happen? Creating a realistic plan in order to achieve the desired results is vital in any case, no matter how high or low your goals are.
